Barry Caudill, a multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer, has been a fixture in the Mid-Atlantic music scene for over 40 years. He has performed and recorded with artists in many genres including jazz, rock, R&B, soul, and big band. Currently, he is a member of the Crack Pack Horns (backing the rock band Crack the Sky) as well as performing with Technicolor Motor Home (a tribute to Steely Dan), Honest Lee Soul, Speakers of the House, The Richard Walton Group, The Melting Pot Big Band, and The Ken Ebo Jazz Orchestra. He has also toured North America and Japan with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and played numerous shows including The Temptations, The Midtown Men, Julia Nixon, Bob Newhart, Maria Muldaur, Mary Wells, Gianni Russo, Archie Bell, The R.A.T. Pack, Scatman Crothers, Ethel Ennis, and The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
Barry is also the owner and operator of Barking Canine Audio Productions specializing in audio engineering (recording, mixing, and mastering) as well as video content creation. Barry mixed the recent Vinnie and the Hitmen Christmas album. He is an affiliate professor at Loyola University of Maryland in Baltimore where he teaches recording, mixing, and mastering.
